Welcome to the March 2024 edition of our e-news. The small team at AHW in 2024 have got into full swing. We are continuing to work with stakeholders across Aotearoa New Zealand, whether it be alcohol bans at sports stadiums or speaking in support of new research into alcohol – there seems to be a wealth of activity for us to lean into.
We have submitted on the Government's lobbying review, continuing our advocacy in local government planning efforts, working on the food standards review or alcohol labelling submissions and more.
We are energised by the interest in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and looking forward to seeing some action in this important area.
Our webinar series has started and we have another few student interns with us and more exciting developments coming. Watch this space!
